Petting Zoo at Drew's Party!

We went to a fun birthday party on Saturday - - with a Petting Zoo!! Despite the 100 plus temp outside, Luke had a great time hanging out with the baby animals and giving them a run for their money.

Lot's of milestones...

I'll start off by saying I don't have pictures of anything :( But I wanted to let everyone know what has been going on with my big boy lately.

So last Monday, Luke decided to take off crawling... It took him about a week of army crawling, stopping and sitting up, and lots of face plants to master it. He is now full speed ahead!! He is offically a 7 1/2 month old crawling baby boy! Watch out Dirk!! Luke has already crawled behind Dirk and got his face sat on. This is going to be fun!

In the same week, he had his first tooth pop up. It's the bottom front right and it's the cutest thing ever. Other than being in pain and dealing with it breaking through the gums, I'm not sure he realizes it's there. I can also see all 6 of the top teeth wanting to come in. He is not going to love this!

Then, last night, he deciced he needed to stand! Yep! He pulled himself up on the ottoman and proceeded to grab the remote that he eyes often. He was so proud of himself. He even held on with one hand and swung the remote in the air. Such a proud mama and daddy moment!!

I also had to take him to the doctor yesterday for a really bad cough, running nose, ear pulling....all the fun stuff...and he has a sinus infection and croup. Nice!

I've come to realize, it's not easy being a baby!!
